                       Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?  Do to current California laws, we are unable to take vision insurance.  Insurance carriers will only allow companies who do "comprehensive eye exams" to be their insurance providers.  We currently only perform "vision screenings" for the purpose of obtaining an eyeglass prescription renewal, not a comprehensive eye exam, which provides a health check of the eyes, as well as obtaining an eyeglass prescription.

(Note:  If you have "out of network benefits, you could submit your receipts from us to collect some reimbursement from your vision insurance.  Also, if you an "HSA" Health Savings Account, you could use that as payment for our services.  We also accept Cash, Check, and credit cards, Zelle, and Venmo.)

How Far Do You Travel?  We travel to South Orange County, Los Angeles, and Riverside Counties.  We may however travel further if their is a large group needing services.  Contact us for details.

What kind of eyeglasses do you carry?   We bring 100s of eyeglasses to you to try on, that are a full mix from higher end brands like Tom Ford, Zegna, and Salvatore Ferragamo, to middle brand names like Gwen Stefani's line "LAMB", Tura, Diesel, lIz Claiborne, to some good quality generic -more economical frame

What are your prices?  Our "Visit Charge" is composed of our vision screening is $75. and the travel fee of $5. per mile from our address in Huntington Beach. Both parts of the visit charge must be paid before the appointment.  The eyeglass charges will be given at the appointment to order glasses.  The eyeglass frames run from $129- 279, and the prescription lens start at $89.

Can I just get an eyeglass prescription renewal only?  We do require a $200. eyeglass purchase for our mobile vision service.  We try very hard to keep the prices of our service reasonable.

Does everyone get a an eyeglass prescription renewal after the Vision Screening?  NO!  Unfortunately do to the possibility of cataracts, or other medical issues, I cannot garantee that the vision screening will be successful to produce an eyeglass prescription renewal.  I can only do my best.
